Whatever your political views, you are probably aware that a small number of powerful companies now control the flow of information on search engines, social media networks and news sites.

That represents a significant threat to the free exchange of information and perspectives.

Without the free flow of information and viewpoints, it is difficult to come up with informed opinions.

This consolidates more and more power away from the people, threatening democracy.

Do you think that democracy will survive this situation, or not? What can be done to try and prevent a few powerful companies from controlling the free exchange of ideas and undermining the will of the people?

MSM already runs only info that doesn't upset their advertisers

and Trash and Repugs attack any sources, media that publishes info they don't like

information is power

Google is now buying non-anonymised medical info on 100Ms. What are they going to do with that "power".
