Rapper 50 CENT has lashed out at fellow hip-hop star KANYE WEST for accusing US President GEORGE W BUSH of racism in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.

The IN DA CLUB star believes human intervention could not have prevented the effects of the hurricane, which killed over a thousand people in the US gulf states in August (05), and sees no point in reprimanding the President for something which was beyond his control.

He says, "The New Orleans disaster was meant to happen. It was an act of God.

"I think people responded to it the best way they can.

"What KANYE WEST was saying, I don't know where that came from."

Oh ok. When they say something you like you're all over his nut sack, but the you're spurning them at every other opportunity. Give me a fucking break. I couldn't care less what 50cent says because he's worthless as a spokesperson for any campaign.

I would not call that a "slam" .. that's just reporter trying to sensationalize the headline. It's like when ABC kept asking survivors in Houston over and over and ever single one blamed local government not the president.

Thats right. Only liberals and closet liberals-oxymoronic socialist-libertarian sack riders can ride celebrity cock. In that case. Have yourself a free ride.

Actually, my point was that celebrity mouthpieces are worthless. Are you so full of shit you can't even read? WTF do I care what any of these celebrities have to say about things?

And in either case, I bet if I go back and look through conservative positions regarding 50cent or rap music I don't think I'm going to find them in approval. Do you? So then why all of a sudden trumpet him as some kind of voice of reason?

Nobody "trumpeted" him. I was just joking with murpy, and murphy was trying to show how that the rap community is not monolithic.

Usher disagreed with Kanye West as well:

USHER URGES AMERICA'S YOUTH TO COME TOGETHER + IGNORE KANYE

R+B hunk USHER is the latest star to attack KANYE WEST over comments he made at an all-star Hurricane Katrina fundraiser a week ago (02SEP05).

The YEAH! singer claims the rapper was wrong to point the finger of blame at President GEORGE W BUSH, who he accused of being a racist, during the telethon.

And the R+B star, who will be among performers appearing on an MTV telethon tonight (10SEP05), states, "I wasn't mad at Kanye's statement - that's his opinion - but it's obviously not the opportunity or the time to poke fun or appoint blame.

"This is an opportunity where we all need to come together - musicians, actors, politicians - and help the (American) Gulf region."

Usher is grateful that none of his family members live near the disaster zones in southeast America - but he feels like he's lost the musical heritage of New Orleans, Louisiana, which was left devastated by the tragedy.

He explains, "The music that we listen to every day... was founded in New Orleans... This city is basically gone, the history of it has gone."

I don't care what either of them think about anything. Their opinions count for very little. 2Quarters was probably just trying to get attention by making controversy with Kayne since he was in the limelight at that second.
