I’ve seen some really good teams or some cusp teams make some funky trades in order to “win now”. I think Aldridge has more allure to a decent team than Demar does. I could the Celtics taking on LMA. They wouldn’t give up Tatum or Brown though :(

Demar in fairness has the fight in him compare to charmin soft Aldridge. The only thing is he does commit dumb mistakes, technical, choke FT’s, fouls and does it towards the end that shifts the momentum or lose us the game. And he’s not willing to shoot 3’s. I think he got Pop’s blessings not to stress-out on shooting 3’s. Pop is stubborn like that. Coz he got nice strokes. I’m sure he could extend that range.

I don't see Boston giving up any picks for LMA. The reality is that while GH makes a ton of money, he's essentially an ending contract as of next summer. Now, if LMA's money hadn't already been guaranteed for next year, and a deal could go down before the February deadline and Boston could get out from under some serious money by waiving LMA next summer, they might throw in a pick. Not going to happen with a straight up deal of like salaries and identical contract lengths, though.
