I'm still pissed (granted Derozan drew the foul) that LWIV didn't take the angle he had vs Rivers at the rim in OT on that drive along the sideline.

Beli would have done it in 1 step.

Crazy thing about this win (besides Lonnie) is that LMA normally murders HOU. This was without him.

I don't care if the OP is not 100 percent accurate, that play is the shit!

According to Spurs twitter, Pop taught him that

Beast.

He traveled like a mf when he picked up his dribble, glad it was a no call

WTF are some you talking about? He took two steps after picking up his dribble. Slow the clip down.

Pop gonna end Walkers career after that dunk :lol
In all seriousness though that kid is explosive! Has anyone noticed how contagious his energy is. It seems every time he is in the whole team perks up.

They wanted him to Euro-step

Marco would’ve shot from half-court and preserved his energy.

That play melted my brain. Had to watch it several times to get what happened.
I'd venture to say that not that many players in the league could do that. It was also a steal on Harden and ignited the crowd like crazy.

It is such a relief to have one thing to be excited about this season, finally!

clear travel

Yeah, that was LeBron level but the crowd would have rioted if they wiped away that spectacular dunk.

I didn't see it as a clear travel live nor after replays, definitely falls within the boundaries of the gather step rule... It's just that hyper athletic players cover more distance using it, so it's more noticeable. After Lonnie learns how to exploit this for maximum flight speed, we're gonna be seeing some nasty dunks

I want to dispute this but after closely reviewing, at the point he gathers its 1-2-3-jump so if you give him the gather step (which they obviously do at this point), then it's a good play.

I still think the whole "gather step" business is ambiguous and makes it even harder for refs to do their job, but it is what it is I guess

He took 3 steps which is a travel and it didn't pass the eye test either but they don't call it these days anyways.

I'll take your word for it. I didn't watch the video.

The first step is a gather, hence why step backs are now not illegal. The NBA cleared everything up with the Beal travel situation lol. NBA fucked atm with the rules. So just enjoy it.

Gather, 1, 2. This isn't new players have been doing for at least 10-15 years.
