Applewhite and Morris were huge names just a few yrs ago

Big jump over the type of names we were looking at last time around. Harrell was probably just using UTSA and UNLV as leverage though, since it's looking like either UT or USC will give him $2 million+ to be their OC. Not sure if the interest is mutual with Riley.

UTSA couldn’t afford anything near $2 million per year.

Not going to lie, I'm disappointed af. I'm hearing he was like the third choice (maybe even lower). Applewhite accepted and then backed out for whatever reason. Golding didn't want it either. Chad Morris withdrew although not sure if he was ever a finalist to begin with.
