His starting and playing big minutes has long since no longer been a question to those with a BBIQ of over 1.0.
Moving fwd, the question is does anyone within the Spurs org other then Pop agree with his starting?

Does anyone within the Spurs org voice to Popped that Bryn Forbes should not be starting? (Nor having many minutes).

Assistant coaches? Any of them? (perhaps they don't agree with his starting but condone it in order to continue to pull a paycheck?)
Including Tim Duncan. This is the one I really want to know. Has a conversation taken place with Duncan and Pop about Forbes starting and playing relatively huge minutes?

Buford?
New GM dude? (I think new GM is simply a figurehead puppet).

probably not. or maybe they did say something but Pop will just go into his little rant about how Bryn is one of the better shooters on the team and we need spacing and he earned his minutes and has corporate knowledge or whatever. you won't be able to change his mind, it has to be changed for him. i.e an injury to Bryn with Walker replacing him. (Although knowing Pop i can pretty much guarantee he would either start mills or belinelli)

Well, he wouldn't start for any other team in the league.... so ... go spurs go??

I do think Pop's going to figure it out and ease Bryn out of the starting lineup, but it's going to take him twice as long as the average Spurs fan to get that Bryn just isn't helping things out there.

Either that or we just continue to have a starting unit that gets smoked on a nightly basis.

I doubt that. All it takes is an occasional 20-point game and Forbes will keep the starting job. We thought he had figured out playing Walker instead of Beli and Beli is still playing at least 20 minutes per game

Well in all fairness Forbes' minutes are trending downwards...It's a step in the right direction.

On playoff teams he is maybe playing five minutes a game.
On non playoff teams fighting for a spot he is maybe playing ten minutes as game.
On tanking teams and the Spurs he is playing twenty plus minutes a game.

Forbes has averaged 26mpg in 27 games and is at (+/-) -143. Walker has averaged 9.9mpg in 20 games and is at (+/-) +34. I don't know what more Walker can possibly do to prove he's worthy of minutes and experience on this team.

Nope. Started again and 19 min tonight (so far), behind by 10 at halftime and was not taken out until mid 3rd when the Clippers were reaming 89-72.

Grandpa then puts Lonnie IV in for his 1st minutes of the night. Insulting.

Bryn Bryn went on to start the next 100 of 101 games or so.

Get ready. Here comes 2021-22.

His 30+ minutes a game will be more painful when we start trading our firsts for high character coffee gang types.
