Whoever retires first loses the all-time stats battle. :lol
Brady has a lot more of the stat that matters most

Will he be tarnishing his legacy by hanging on?
Will he be tarnishing his legacy by hanging on?
Naw. His legacy is sealed at this point. No one is going to remember him having a bad few years to end his career. Anything positive he does here on out is just gravy.
Brady to Chargers and Bridgewater to the Patriots? Interesting.

Media loved to say Favre would taint his legacy if he kept playing after 07; oddly nobody saying it for Brady.

He just threw for over 4,000 yards, 24 touchdowns and 8 interceptions despite a shit offensive line and no receivers. He’s not at the Eli Manning point yet of shamelessly sticking around despite the fact he doesn’t belong in the NFL.

His status within his Era is safe
But imagine if he left the immense comfort zone of Boston and joined the Cowboys AND led them to the NFC Championship game. Which is what Joe Montana accomplished
Montana led 3 different coaches to the Conference Finals. Can you firmly say Brady is more valuable than Belicheck? I guess we will soon find out.

Yeah Duncan and Manu aren’t the GOATs of their respective sports.
No one hold his two seasons with the Jizzards against MJ.

Yeah and Brady went 12-4 with a dogshit offensive line and no receivers.
The arguments that this season somehow tarnished Brady’s legacy reeks of desperation and is retarded. You’re going to need to come to grips with the fact that he’s the undisputed GOAT.

What would be a career year for Dak is a terrible year for Brady :lmao

No they don’t.
You have been hanging around Lakers fans in the NBA forum to much Andy. People remember Duncan and Manu for all of the championships they brought SA, not that they maybe hung around a year or 2 too long

side note: anybody catch that there's now a famous football player named Brady Breeze? Like wtf are parents doing these days. First a Duncan Robinson now a Brady Breeze. Will there be a Rodgers Manning? Or a Jordan Pippen?

Neither of them even hung on too long IMO:lol
Duncan retired immediately after his knees gave out and Manu was still decent, Warriors players were subtly recruiting him. Don't know what MM is talking about.

With Taysum Hill drawing comparison to Lamar Jackson, Brees could be done in NO.

Yes, more likely walking than Brady
Strong QB market and Cowboys will stick with Dak

If Brees retires which is unlikely, Saints will re-sign Bridgewater.

All three QBs are RFAs. My guess would be that the Saints will resign Brees and Hill and not Bridgewater.

No they don't. Duncan has the same status as Brady - he was great for longer than anyone thought he could be, leading his team to within seconds of a championship at age 37. He was the best player on his team (and a top 10 player in the league) at age 37. He didn't need to do that to cement his legacy, but it was just gravy at that point. His legacy was cemented based on 1997-2007 alone.
