Been there, my company would play there, pretty cool. Sound system too, nice hardwood floors. Antonio Daniels and Devin Brown had their basketball camps there.

At the time when you guys wanted to have it, they were using all the gym for Hurrican Katrina related stuff. I guess by now, they are open to renting them again.

I drove by there Sunday evening. Really isn't on Broadway, but is a big metal barn just behind the athletic equipment shop.
I wonder what their business plan looks like? Obtaining property between 410 and Alamo Heights (but next to a pretty poor neighborhood between the FOC and the railroad tracks), a huge, thick slab, plus serious HVAC capacity. An investment of several 100 $K, or a couple $M?
I see the court is home court for a couple schools, so does it have seating?, because if I go play there, I don't want all my fans to be forced to stand. :lol

Outside does look like a metal barn, but inside is very nice.

If they don't make it, it can be turned into a machine shop or body repair shop, which is probably also part of their business plan: "what's the re-sale/re-use salvage value?" :lol
I wish somebody would put up backboards on those 2 ancient, under-used tennis courts west of the MacArthur Park parking lot.

Everytime you would shoot Boutons, you'd have to chase your air balls across 35. :lol

"chase your air balls across 35"
The tennis courts I'm talking about face N/E IH410, not 35.
I don't shoot airballs, esp in pracice, I had a great (shooting) coach in HS, :)
The tennis court fences are probably 12 - 14 ft high. High enough for tennis balls, then high enough for basketballs. :)

He knows...we live right on the other side of 410 from MacArthur Park. :lol
That'd be cool if they fixed it up..... :)
