Spurs coaching stuff intentionally got that one guy beat them by putting one of the worst defender in the league on him for the first 70% of the game provoking overhelping and easy offense for the Sun. It was maybe the dumbest coaching decision of the season.

For me this game and most of them are lost due to Pop's rotation choices. He stubbornly stuck with a lineup that gave up a 10-0 run and by the time he subbed out of it the tide of the game had permanently changed. If the Suns could they would play Booker all 48, yet Pop will go 12 minutes a game with neither LMA, DD, or DWhite on the court. If he insists on this the Spurs need another scorer to supplement the bench because Rudy doesn't have it right now. Isn't Jamal Crawford sitting at home, he could be our Lou Williams type.

The Spurs also have players that get significant minutes that are either a non factor on offense, Lyles and Poodle, or an albatross on defense, Bryn, Belli and sometimes Patty. Every player can't be elite on both sides of the ball but these players weaknesses outweigh whatever strengths they bring to the table.
