Inspired by, not neccessarily created by white mamba. In a discussion on triple doubles.

Single digits in points, rebounds, assists. (For that matter could be blocks, steals but realistically the big three are by far the most common triple dubs.)

So just how hard is it for an NBA starter and 3rd in minutes to have a % and streaks of triple singles?
Let's see just how many times Bryn and Coach Pop have and can continue to pull this off. Could Bryn with the NBAs GOAT coach be leading the NBA in triple singles among starters?

Pop stops playing Forbes and the Spurs have a 40 point turnaround.

the only stat where Forbes ever had double figures in his career is points. Absolutely no need to take assists and rebounds into the equation

Not fair. I'll bet he's hit double figures in bricks a bunch of times.

The lack of moves I think was a deciding reason in Kawhi leaving. Spurs made no effort to improve the team but Spurs have been so good for so long it's really not their fault. 22 seasons of making playoffs and no high draft picks. Spurs could have done better but they did what they could really. It clearly wasn't good enough for Leonard and he wanted to play in LA.

Wait....this sounds like a broken record.

the big 2017 offseason moves were outbidding themselves to pay mills and gasol. I would’ve said fuck this team too

Lack of moves wasn’t reason for wanting to leave. He won a title with the Raptors, with a great shot to continue winning the East and still left.

He just wanted to be in LA. Good thing he ruined a Golden State title chance.

This is a fact. Kawhi is the most recent evolution of the new NBA player. He was in b2b Finals in 2013 and 2014, won a ring a and Finals MVP in 2014, won b2b DPOY awards with the Spurs. Just 2 years later he's eyeing LA. It wasn't about being competitive. The ring and 2nd Finals MVP he won in Toronto wasn't enough to keep him out of LA.

Kawhi is just a more obvious example that players have different reasons for playing and that money and lifestyle are what it's about for many if not most players. Championships are nice, but there aren't many players in the league today who want to win bad enough to take that over the locale and salary they want, and they don't even have to sacrifice the salary these days. Location, location, location.

I would have thought so too but low and behold:

11 Rebounds for Bryn Bryn!
24 points.
Dec 11 2018 vs Phoenix.
So Bryn is 1 for 152.

Spurs didn't do what they could...that's a shit excuse...even the 73-9 warriors didn't take solace in knowing they were the best team in the league by far

This is a shit argument...just because I want to dump my girlfriend because she wasn't a good girlfriend doesn't mean I want ANY other girl

I could envision him and DJ talking in private about Pop's favorite and how much he sucks. I've never seen DJ talk to Forbes very much now that I think about it.

Didn't DJ's dad abandon him and they have a really shitty relationship? Or am I thinking of someone else? Almost no chance of him pulling a Kawhi due to his dad but even if he did- meh no big loss tbh. Dude can't run an offense, can't dribble, can't finish in traffic, and can't shoot volume 3s.

Wow. While I don't like someone trashing a teamate via social media, seemingly all Spurs related (and yes I include you Tim Duncan) refusing to speak out against Grandpas power trip favoritism to Bryn Bryn has long since gotten way out of hand.

hey hey.
He's being forced into a position that doesn't fit. CIA retard even going as far as trying to get him to pattern his game after Chrissy Paul.

Back to Bryn Bryn, he broke his streak last night with 13 pts on good shooting 4-8 treys.
I expect this Triple Single to return next game.

I don't know the details but yeah i'm pretty sure they don't have much of a relationship. DJs "father figure" passed away a couple weeks ago.

Might've been a career high for Forbes in steals last night too. Gives it the illusion that he plays defense and that's all Pop will see. :pop: Our starting 2 guard hit four 3s and had 2 steals which is ironic bc he's already a steal for us

Too bad he gave up at least 20 points. Smh That Bryn's "good games" are still usually mediocre overall...
