The video/link isn’t working but I’ll take a guess that this is another Republican or someone else who’s never going to vote Democrat in a million years talking about how Sanders being a socialist is driving away all the potential Republicans/independents who just might consider voting for a DINO like Bloomberg of Jim Crow Joe over Trump (but in reality never will).

How close was I?

Because the right would totally vote for a center-right Democrat. Just ask Madam President.

Bernie is not a socialist. Hes more a centrist with some social features

:lmao USA is such a right leaning fascist state. they have to even cheat in primaries because they are terrified of a centrist like Bernie :lmao

Hillary their so called lefty leader is basically Jair Bolsonaro with a pussy :lol

she mussolini with a larger body count :lol

but the real americans there are hundreds of thousands of us and we are tired of the right fascist fucks. so we support bernie to the death and wont go away

even if bernie is defeated someone will take his place eventually and we will take over eventually

Just like the left would totally vote for McCain or Romney until Republicans nominated them lol.

Seriously though, Idk anything about the author but saying Bernie is the strongest candidate in the field rings true to me as an outside observer. And the idea that Bloomberg's bottomless funding could lead to a brokered convention between him and Bernie doesn't seem completely implausible.

You mean the same “We” people who think a virus from China was a US-Israeli project?
You and the Great Floating Turd are both idiots.

Not sure if you’re agreeing or disagreeing but yeah that’s the point, strategy of nominating a moderate thinking it’ll flip voters on the other side is a retarded strategy, Democrat or Republican.

Because it's team sports. I didn't become a Raptors fan just because Kawhi went there.

I was agreeing but also pointing out both sides play that game. Results would have been the same if Kasich was the nominee even though all the Dems on here pretend they would have voted for him.

I would have voted for Bill Weld
Really wish I could vote for Delaney this time
:lol

this is correct so long as our participation rate is shitty and "drawing out more of your base" is still a viable strategy.

if our participation rate was closer to 1, then you'd have to win over moderates

Agreed completely. The Democrats who were talking about how Kaisich is such a :cry class act :cry and that the Republicans should nominate him are fucking idiots, and any of them claiming they would have considered voting for Kaisich are either liars or kidding themselves.

Bill Clinton is the only successful candidate I can think of who ran as a moderate and he would have lost in 92 if not for a 3rd party candidate. Every other bland moderate since Clinton (Gore, Kerry, Hillary) has lost. Even though Obama ended up being a moderate he ran on a much more progressive platform.

and to put that in perspective, thats the only time an incumbent has lost a re-election bid since 1980, 40 years ago
