It would be 5-25 even if we played like we were trying to make playoffs.

Not sure I expect much difference. I don't think Pop's lineups and rotations will change. Maybe a little worse. Some of the guys will give up and dog it probably. 5-25 wouldn't surprise me.

This is what really sucks about this year. Losing and getting the 13th pick of a shitty, weak draft is no different than going to the playoffs and getting a 20ish pick. Watch, more stars/better players will come in the late draft after the Spurs pick. Guarantee it.

The Spurs will be lucky to get a serviceable roll player with the 13th out of this upcoming draft.

There might be potential projects or two but after the first couple of picks there just isn't any player that can put a team in the right direction.

If Spurs win against Nuggets, Jazz, or Thunder over the rest of the RRT it will be because those teams had a bad game. Spurs aren't good enough to beat any of them. I'll be very interested to see what happens during the 10 day All Star break. Especially since no Spur is participating.

Here's what the Spurs will be looking at after the RRT

Feb 26 Mavs - Doncic will be back
Feb 29 Magic - they are still fighting for playoff chances in Eastern Conference
Mar 2 Pacers - Olidepo is back, and playoff position
Mar 3 @ Hornets - possible W
Mar 6 @ Nets
Mar 8 @ Cavs - possible W

Horrendous Homestand
Mar 10 Mavs
Mar 13 Nuggets
Mar 14 Timberwolves - who just beat Clippers over the head after the Russell trade and he didn't even play tonight!
Mar 16 Grizzlies - playing for playoff position

Another major road trip (6 out of next 8 games / 5 straight)

Mar 18 @ NOLA
Mar 20 Bulls - possible W
Mar 22 Jazz
Mar 24 @ Jazz
Mar 26 @ Timberwolves
Mar 27 @ Nuggets
Mar 29 @ Warriors - will see how they are integrating Wiggins, only lost to Lakers by 5 tonight without Draymond
Mar 31 @ Kings

That isn't much better than RRT is right now! After this, the Spurs only leave the state of Texas once. Great time to cement their vacation plans.

Apr 3 Warriors
Apr 5 NOLA
Apr 7 Kings
Apr 8 @ Rockets
Apr 10 76ers
Apr 12 Rockets
Apr 13 @ Pacers
Apr 15 NOLA

How many real wins do you see there??? Not many!!! This team might not make it to 30 wins!! This team could legitimately be looking at a top 5 pick, and it won't be because they are tanking or a fortunate turn of the draft odds. It's because from now to the end of the regular season, they are going to get their asses handed to them by teams who have something to play for and coaches who care more. This RRT is just the clearing of the throat of what ugliness awaits this team for the remainder of this season.

Spurs will pick another great athlete who can't shoot volume 3s.
