ESPN would have never mentioned us in the past had we not been dominating the league. We're not noteworthy enough. The Spurs have never attracted much attention so it really shouldn't shock anyone that we're even less popular on social media now that we're mediocre. Big markets and young superstars get the social media hype. The Spurs have neither at the moment.

Amazing how during the glory years we didn’t get much interest. It wasn’t until we started playing Lebron in the finals that we got a bump. So looks like the interest in us was partially just due to us being LeBron’s main competition for a title for a couple of years
