tl;dr: Pretty much everyone played poorly. Except for Keldon Johnson. He was pretty good in garbage time.

Thanks for the grades. Like you said, no one played well and we got plummeted. Tape is burnt. I hope we show up for this next home-stand.

Thanks for the grades Timvp. Just an awful game after the first 18 mins of the game. You hit it on the nail. When they looked for leadership when the Thunder started rolling, nobody in the Spurs jersey stepped up. With that I would give both Aldridge/Demar an F. This 16/0 run didn’t happen with the big 3. Somebody would always step up, be it on the defensive end. If Spurs couldn’t buy a basket, likewise the opponent shouldn’t with tighter defense. Instead it was a turn over after the other. Yet that Aldridge follow-up should’ve been a foul, instead no call and Thunder went to hit a 3? It was a 5 point swing. Going back to my point, Spurs should hang their hat on D, instead of Mills clanking 3’s then Thunder converting on the other end. Aldridge/Demar should continue attacking the basket and get foul. It’s a sure way to stop the bleeding. Just the same, Spurs should lean more on D when things are not going right imo.

Thanks for the grade, Timvp
Didnt see the game and if I did , I would have wondered where is the fight from the players. Just a shame. Hey, at least the young guys got some run.

Was at the Chesapeake for the game. Everyone’s shot was extremely flat. It got to the point where you knew if a Spur was putting a shot up, it was clanging off the front of the rim. The sad part was how competitive it was until after halftime. Spurs were a complete no-show in the second half. A lot of blocked shots too.

I'm just chalking this loss up to everyone just waiting to go back home. Nothing to see here.

The whole team looked weary. Except for Keldon Johnson, who is amazingly tenacious.

Keldon Johnson

Obviously, he has no idea of what to do when it comes to the team-defense philosophies but, all in all, it was an encouraging debut of sorts for Johnson.

Well he would if he had been getting minutes, instead wasting them on Marco all season. If he had, the Spurs would be in much better shape for next year, and maybe... maybe Pop getting more than an F would be justified. This season is shot. Time to do something about the future. Turning the team over to Tim and Becky would be a good place to start. They would get the young guys involved.

Man i'm a huge LWIV supporter but god damn he's not taking advantage of shit. He needs to get out of his head and just hustle and play basketball. Pop probably has Lonnie believing Forbes is actually better than him :lol

Fully expect another beat down Wednesday night against the Mavs, its time for Keldon and Metu to be getting minutes, shit even Spoon.

I missed this game and by the looks of the write up and score, I didn’t miss much.

Considering the schedule, 3-5 isn’t too bad.

Should have been 4-4 if they hadn’t choked to the damn Hawks

They went 2-6 and never played the Hawks on the RRT.

Hawks done swept this goofy team already :lol but I can see the mistake considering the Hawks sweeping the Spurs is still pretty resounding
