Yea, the genre is way down from its zenith, but still it's been on my mind lately...

Alternative/Indie is still one of my go to's. There just seems to be a large percentage of one hit wonders. So albums aren't worth it. Lack of monster bands but the hits are still legit. Maybe too electronic for some peoples taste.

The new stuff is reasonably good but ultimately fluffy and without soul. Bands are just trying to write sh** that'll be picked up on a commercial or for a TV scene. Great albums are few and far in between; though there are a good number that are decent as I said.
