Just get the virus, work from home or use your sick days, drink plenty of liquids (NOT ALCOHOL!!), get plenty of sleep, and you'll be fine next week because you can't catch the same virus twice.

cov19 is no worse than the h1n109 swine flu or the 2003 sars.

ebola 2014 and h5n1 bird flu of the mid aughts actually scared me because of the mortality rates. But this is a run of the mill pandemic.

Mine wear gas masks. They're extra careful.

They do what they're supposed to do. They're disposable and meant for short-term use. Doctors and nurses, etc also wear other PPE and wash their hands every five minutes. Viruses can live on surfaces, so even if you have a mask on, you can still pick it up by touching a surface even if you didn't directly come into contact with somebody that's sick.

All that said, hording masks is dumb and healthy individuals shouldn't bother. If you're asthmatic, have COPD, or whatever and you're going to be in a crowded area for a short time, go ahead.
