Never watched it before its great so far.

I love how they portray all the different levels of how much the cops are into their job.
Its strikes a lovely chord with me about people who decide to go into upper level management and get away from the actual job.
Just forget the goal, and stay parasitic until that retirement comes in. What a waste of life.

Then the drug rings and their hierarchy and how devoted they are to the job parallels the cop's plight.

Really good stuff.

Without giving away too many details, they basically do a role reversal from season 1 where Carrie is the new Brodie only without any annoying background family.

I might be biased because they brought my favorite villain from the prior seasons back (Haqqani). There also hasn’t been any involvement from her ginger daughter or annoying sister which is good.

Dunno. Dexter was kinda fun, but jumped the shark towards the end. A serial killer who kills... murderers.

Dexter is an American television crime drama mystery series that aired on Showtime from October 1, 2006, to September 22, 2013.[1] Set in Miami, the series centers on Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall), a forensic technician specializing in bloodstain pattern analysis for the fictional Miami Metro Police Department, who leads a secret parallel life as a vigilante serial killer, hunting down murderers who have slipped through the cracks of the justice system. The show's first season was derived from the novel Darkly Dreaming Dexter (2004), the first in a series of novels by Jeff Lindsay. It was adapted for television by screenwriter James Manos Jr., who wrote the first episode. Subsequent seasons evolved independently of Lindsay's works.

Lucifer was also a lot of fun, based on Neil Giamans concept of what the devil does after retirement.

Lucifer is an American television series developed by Tom Kapinos that premiered on Fox on January 25, 2016.[2][3] It is based on the DC Comics character created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth, and Mike Dringenberg taken from the comic book series The Sandman, who later became the protagonist of a spin-off comic book series, both published by DC Comics' Vertigo imprint. The series is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer Television, DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Television.

The series revolves around Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis), the Devil, who abandons Hell for Los Angeles where he runs his own nightclub and becomes a consultant to the LAPD. The ensemble and supporting cast include Lauren German as Detective Chloe Decker, Kevin Alejandro as Detective Daniel "Dan" Espinoza, D. B. Woodside as Amenadiel, Lesley-Ann Brandt as Mazikeen, and Rachael Harris as Dr. Linda Martin. Filming took place primarily in Vancouver, British Columbia before production was relocated entirely to Los Angeles, California beginning with the third season.

A man on death row for 20 years for raping/murdering his high school girlfriend gets released after DNA evidence nullifies his conviction (doesn’t exonerate him tho). So he goes home to reintegrate in a town where he’s still thought of as a murderer, prosecutors are looking to lock him back up, people in his own family mistrust him, and his old high school buddies who know the truth of what happened that night are trying to keep things covered up.

Half the golf courses in San Diego county shut down yesterday, the other half refused to comply. Had a friend call me this morning at the course he was at and the sheriff pulled in and shut the course down. Head pro had to round everyone up off the course. I understand the shelter in place but shutting down a golf course is fucking stupid. Courses were already offering single carts (sanitized) and recommended walking. Flags and bunker rakes were removed to curb any possible germ spread. No food or drinks offered. I’ve adhered to staying home unless it’s necessary to leave but this really pissed me off. Golf is one of the safest outdoor activities I can think of during a time like this.

Incoming humble brag, needed to share something positive after the recent shitstorm.

Fortunately the semi private club where I play allowed members out today. There were no flags on the green so just had to hit to the center for the green and find the hole once you got there. Totally changed how I played the game today. Ended up shooting 2 under :lol. Haven’t shot under par in a few years. One positive to coronavirus I guess.
