ECMO is a good treatment, but I don't they have enough of those to meet the demand.

& you can bet they won't take the same fit they took so we have thousands of vents all over the fuckin' place now.

Well you aren't getting ECMO without going on a vent first. Then ECMO has a 40% mortality rate according to the article.

So if you go on a vent you're probably fucked, then if you move onto ECMO you're probably fucked.
