Miami won 27-7

Texas will be in the National Championship game if they win out.

Both are overrated. Miami has a good 'D' with no 'O'. Miami was Vahtechs first real game to speak of, and they were exposed, at home.

USC and Texas are far and away, above the rest.

Maybe everyone's overrated? Where does it stop? They're both good teams, Miami just made more plays tonight. I suppose FSU's overrated, too? Miami played them pretty close.

And USC and Texas aren't far and away better. USC should've lost to Notre Dame and Texas has looked shaky at certain points. I don't recall them blowing out Ohio State. Besides, you can't say Texas has had a tougher schedule than Virginia Tech.

And now, my Orangeblooded friends, it is time to worry about 'Bama. If they win next week against current #6 LSU in Tuscaloosa and can beat #17 Auburn in a rivalry game, they'll be 11-0. With a conference championship game win against either highly ranked Georgia or a rematch against Florida, will the BCS give the SEC the shaft again?

Stay tuned.

Alabama will lose to LSU.

Alabama will NOT jump ahead of Texas!! That would be the end of the BCS. Even if Texas were lose (not happening), I would still not believe Alabama would be #2.

I would agree. All USC and UT have to do is win out. I thought USC might have problems with Cal and UCLA but after what I saw with those two teams yesterday....maybe not so much! :)

i don't think there is any way alabama can beat all three of those teams with the offense they have right now.

You don't think that if Texas lost and Bama ended up undefeated that the Tide would be #2?

You need to lay off the orange Koolaid.

No, I didnt say that. If that happened, yes Bama would be #2. I just wouldnt personally believe that they are the #2 team in the nation. Thats all I meant.

I'd believe they were. If (big if) Alabama wins out they'd have wins over Florida, Tennessee, LSU, Auburn, and probably Georgia.

Didn't think VaTech was going undefeated. I wasn't drinking maroon kool-aid from a sippy cup.
I think 'Bama will follow VaTech down the road of at least 1 loss teams.
The U or LSU I think stand a better chance to take a top 2 spot if USC or UT falter.

I think Vick is more overrated than the team itself

8/22 90 yds passing 2 Int
4 Fumbles, all lost

Canes have a nice D, and Vick had a day Joey Harrington would laugh at

Texas bandwagoners better hope that someone nicks the Tide.

'Bama isn't an issue. I would think that most fence riders would know that.

Only if Texas and Miami lose another game. Pollsters know Bama has a good defense, but a shoddy offense. Kind of like VTech??? :spin

Well, if Bama finds a way to win out, that shitty offense won't matter. Wins against Baylor and Kansas don't impress.

I disagree. If that were the case, 'Bama would be ahead of Texas already. Pollsters know who is better.

better start pulling for the Tide now Marcus

It wouldn't suprise me to see Bama leapfrogged. That should upset Tide faithful but it will CRUSH Bama fence riding bandwagoners. :lol

No way Alabama wins out the rest of the season, they are barely beating middle of the road SEC teams at this point, they'll lose before the season is over. Texas vs. USC, book it.
