So.. Took a family vacation to Orlando back in mid-December. Went to Sea World Orlando, and of course Disney World. Disney was packed full of foreigners that day as expected, a shitload of Asians. Must have touched a million shared surfaces and rubbed elbows w/ a ton of people from all over the world. Washing my hands etc. wasn't very high on my priority list at that point.

Anyways, about 2 weeks later I got really sick.. Felt like the flu, but it kicked my ass for about 2 weeks. The symptoms that I found weird were the fever that would come and go. I only take Ibuprofen for fever, but for whatever reason it didn't work for me and I found myself using Tylenol to manage. I had extreme fatigue and basically laid on the couch for an entire week. One night about a week or so into this shit, I woke up feeling like I couldn't breathe right, and coughed to clear my lungs. I immediately tasted blood. I went to spit in the sink and expected phlegm with a hint of blood, and was pretty shocked to see an entire mouthful of pure blood. I rinsed it down quick and hid it from my family, but the next morning it happened again.

Luckily the bleeding lungs started to improve and I started to gradually feel better and never went to the doctor.. But looking back it seems very suspect. Anybody else have something similar happen to them?

Shit man a few weeks ago I had pretty extreme gastro pain and a high temp and could barely even sit up for more than five minutes at a time without having to lay down, out of energy. Couldn't eat anything, was vomiting when I'd drink water, couldn't sleep, just laid there like third base and wasn't getting any better for a few days. I managed to drop 10-15 pounds in a stretch of 4-5 days and was popping Tylenol like ju-ju bees to control the pain and bring down the fever. The sickest I have felt in a long time and I'd be up and down throughout the night. Called my mom and she got scared and said you're moving with your auntie and uncle in Bel-Air. I whistled for a cab and when it came near the license plate said fresh and it had dice in the mirror. If anything I could say that this cab was rare, but I thought, nah, forget it, yo homes to Bel-Air. I pulled up to the house about 7 or 8 and yelled to the cabby yo homes smell ya later. Looked at my kingdom I was finally there to sit on my throne as the prince of Bel-Air.

Waiting on the antibodies test to be available.. My doc said they haven't been released yet. The trials of hospitals using plasma from people who have recovered from the virus looks promising, I'd donate if I knew it would help

Walter White coughed up blood and was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. I hate going to the doctor too but that's thats not something I'd try to hide/not get checked out, imo.

:lol - I'm also bald, I should start selling meth obviously

The symptom is completely gone.. After the 2nd time it happened I knew I needed to go to the doctor, but it started to improve and ultimately never happened again. Was scary as shit though tbh

Yes I know several and myself got a flu worse then we had in years. But no where near the effects you had.
I was down hard for like 3 days. Was it Rona? In retrospect I don't know.
Am also waiting for the antibody test. Orange says "it's a local thing."

The 3 day thing would lead me to believe you probably had the regular flu.. Or all the jacking off has made you into some sort of a super human.

Pretty much everything I've read is people's battles w/ the virus lasting 10-14 days

That sounds more like food poisoning tbh. I got Campylobacter back in 2018 (eating at an airport restaurant during a layover....never again). Your symptoms sound almost identical to mine, lasted about a week, lost 10-15 pounds, couldn't keep food down etc.

I thought maybe so, though in the past the couple of times I have had a really nasty case of food poisoning it would lay me out only for a day and then I'd be fine. Probably more likely than corona though since I didn't have any lung problems and since I wasn't sick for 1-3 weeks like you see a lot with COVID. Still, that shit has been reported to cause gastro problems in something like 30% of COVID cases I think so can't be sure. Never bothered getting it checked since it went away after a few days and since who wants to go into a doctor's office in the middle of a pandemic and maybe actually pick corona up if that wasn't what I had. Or maybe pass it if it was what I had. Any fever is so suspect now. :lol

Truth is, I think this thing has been going around for a while now. The Chinese did their best to cover it up for a long time and all we saw reported was the tail end of it. Their bell-curve makes no sense when you compare it to what's happened everywhere since then.

I've had this persistent mild hacking cough since about early March. Definitely no coughing up blood or even mucus.

I had 28 colds in high school so mucus was pretty much my life from September to May from 2009-2013, especially up to 2012. And when I wasn't sick with a cold I had the worst stomach cramps in all of San Antonio. But I've been much healthier in that respect since.

I'm hoping that this has been burning it's way around for a lot longer than we realize and that the number of asymptomatic cases are high. That way there'd at least be hope that it fizzles out at some point with everybody having developed antibodies.

Even more than we think is still probably not that much of the population infected though. That USC antibody test study estimates around 4% of LA county has had the virus and they likely have more infection than San Antonio. We need to be at 10x that infection rate to even think of the virus fizzling out, and we might need to be at something more like 70%.

Exact same shit happened to me back in early January (just not as much blood coughed up with my phlegm). Gonna get an antibody test when I can but I'm pretty sure it was the Rona. My entire family dealt with the same thing around that time as well.

Absolutely.. It certainly did not start going around just because Hanx and Gobert came forward, this shit has been going around for months.. I believe not knowing they had COVID would seriously benefit a bunch of infected patients because of the psychosomatic effect that would make them panic and potentially get sicker. It's so sensationalized now (rightfully so) hearing you tested positive would probably send a lot of people's anxiety and panic disorders through the roof and make them feel like they couldn't breathe based off that alone

Crazy. Check this out.. The second story is exactly what happened to me.. after the fatigue and fever started to improve the congestion became worse and ultimately led to coughing up blood a couple of days later. I tried my hardest to go easy on the coughing and the bleeding stopped thankfully.

"Many know the key symptoms of COVID-19 by heart (cough (https://www.health.com/condition/infectious-diseases/coronavirus/what-is-a-dry-cough), fever (https://www.health.com/condition/infectious-diseases/coronavirus/what-temperature-is-considered-a-fever-in-adults), fatigue) as well as some of the more serious or surprising symptoms (shortness of breath, diarrhea). But now, according to recent research and some patient testimonies, a small percentage of COVID-19 cases have also reported coughing up blood.

United States Sen. Amy Klobuchar recently said her husband, John Klobuchar, experienced the scary symptom after he was diagnosed with COVID-19. "John started to feel sick ... and like so many others who have had the disease, he thought it was just a cold," Klobuchar wrote in a Medium post published on March 23 (https://medium.com/@Amy_Klobuchar/statement-from-senator-amy-klobuchar-c4195302844). "He kept having a temperature and a bad, bad cough, and when he started coughing up blood he got a test and a chest X-ray and they checked him into a hospital in Virginia."

Another COVID-19 patient, 29-year-old Tarek Soliman, revealed that he had also experienced similar symptoms in an interview with TODAY (https://www.today.com/health/3-young-people-coronavirus-tell-first-hand-stories-t176519). "The fever went away on the seventh or eighth day, but by then, the virus had extended to my lungs, and I started developing pneumonia,” he explained. “There was fluid in my lungs, and I was coughing blood. It freaked me out.”
