Think I mentioned before I chose b/w yours and MDR-1000X. I already had the non NC version of yours and I heard the MDR-1000X active NC was among best in industry.

One of the best electronic purchases I've made in years. Just came back from Hawaii - silence even on the dinky Cessna plane I took b/w islands.

I upgraded to the MX3s when they came out in Sept 2018. They MX2 didn't seem worth it but the MX's deeper bass, better ear cushions, fast USB-C charging and slightly better isolation made it easy for me at the time. The sound quality is excellent for wireless cans.

Only negatives for me is you can only be connected to one device at a time an the call mic quality is pretty poor. The first one matter much more to me and they better correct both for their next gen.

Bass is good, it pairs seamlessly with all my Apple devices (W1 cheap) , connectivity and BT range are fantastic :tu
Battery is great and it has fast charge

0 latency when watching videos because it supports all codecs

And it’s very comfortable

No I haven’t but I heard great things about them. My only gripe with Sonys as resistanze said is the lack of multi device pairing
Otherwise Sony makes good shit

The XB 950 N1 have great battery life, great adjustable bass, very good ANC, great BT connection

Completely missed this post way back when, tbh... The QC35 were a gift from the wife, and frankly they're good enough for me.

I do like having an excellent mic. The Sony one suffices.

They've been on sale at a great price since the M4s came out.

Only thing I dislike even more (now that I'm working at home) is the inability to connect to 2 devices. It's a big annoyance.
