Funny thing is, I haven't seen a real "Fire Pop" thread for years. The only ones you see are these joke type ones, which really aren't funny because it is making fun of something that doesn't happen any more.

That's true....back then it was common for "Fire Pop" and the "Pop can't coach" threads to rule the board. I guess some people finally gave it a rest after three titles.
