It's a lot different imo. You're sitting in a space that's probably been sat in by 50 different people in the same day. And touching the same chips. In some cases, the same dice or cards. And the same buttons on the slot machines.
I'm assuming the casinos are doing their best to disinfect everything but it doesn't seem possible they can catch everything.

I can't say I'm a huge gambler, but I do enjoy occasional trips to Vegas, the wife and I used to also take road trips to Lake Charles. Regardless, it'll be a while before I go anywhere. It'll probably be at least the fall before I take any vacation time.

THE D LAS VEGAS

Since the Fall of 2012, the D Las Vegas has helped revitalize the Downtown area to bring the ultimate Downtown Las Vegas experience. Today, we bring the modern-day casino and a hotel experience with touches of vintage Las Vegas throughout. From comfortable rooms in the heart of the city, to blackjack tables and slots old and new, to bars that provide entertainment with specialty drinks, come stay at the D.

I stayed at Bally's in Vegas a couple weeks ago. It's a Caesars property but a notch below their 5 star properties, but it's in the center of the strip and was fine. And it's attached to the Paris, and right across the street is Caesars Palace and Bellagio. I did pretty good on sports bets. The Vikings killed a parlay would have paid nicely. I played in a $100 poker tourney and got knocked out around midway through when my pocket Qs lost to AK with the chips getting shoved in preflop. I wasn't really interested in playing table games because we have those in nola anyway and I rarely even play them anymore. Sports betting isn't legal here so that's what my focus was on as far as gambling.
