Preliminary findings released Tuesday for a U.S.-based clinical trial of anti-parasite drug ivermectin found that the mortality rate for coronavirus patients fell 40%, according to the Medrxiv.org site.
The ivermectin study -- it began in March as part of a larger Australian-led clinical study -- focused on 280 patients, 173 of whom were treated with the drug at four Broward County, Florida, hospitals.

The research team was led by Dr. Jean-Jacques Rajter, a Broward Health Medical Center physician, and his wife, Juliana Cepelowicz Rajter.

It's available at tractor supply in oral, injectable, and pour on formulations.

Use the pour on if you get lice or mites with your Covid-19

The approved dose of ivermectin alone not useful in treating COVID-19

A new paper published on the preprint server medRxiv (https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2020.04.21.20073262v1) in April 2020 shows that

the use of the already approved drug ivermectin in clinical trials to treat severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2)

is not feasible.

This contradicts earlier reports (https://www.news-medical.net/news/20200406/Antiparasitic-drug-Ivermectin-kills-coronavirus-in-48-hours.aspx) of its ability to suppress the virus in vitro.
