Carmina Burana O Fortuna or something like that by Karl Orff.....I know it has Fortuna in the title.

The lyrics:

O Fortuna
velut luna
statu variabilis,
semper crescis
aut decrescis;
vita detestabilis
nunc obdurat
et tunc curat
ludo mentis aciem,
egestatem,
potestatem
dissolvit ut glaciem.

Sors immanis
et inanis,
rota tu volubilis,
status malus,
vana salus
semper dissolubilis,
obumbrata
et velata
michi quoque niteris;
nunc per ludum
dorsum nudum
fero tui sceleris.

Sors salutis
et virtutis
michi nunc contraria,
est affectus
et defectus
semper in angaria.
Hac in hora
sine mora
corde pulsum tangite;
quod per sortem
sternit fortem,
mecum omnes plangite!

O Fortune,
like the moon
you are changeable,
ever waxing
and waning;
hateful life
first oppresses
as fancy takes it;
poverty
and power
it melts them like ice.

Fate - monstrous
and empty,
you whirling wheel,
you are malevolent,
well-being is vain
and always fades to nothing,
shadowed
and veiled
you plague me too;
now through the game
I bring my bare back
to your villainy.

Fate is against me
in health
and virtue,
driven on
and weighted down,
always enslaved.
So at this hour
without delay
pluck the vibrating strings;
since Fate
strikes down the string man,
everyone weep with me!

Trying to forget my Finley of love.
Teardrops rolling down on my face,
Trying to forget my Finley of love.

Finley, for all my life I'll feel it.
I wish pop never benched you;
You'll never paly again.

Finley, wo-o-o Finley,
Wo-o-o, Finley you again on my team.

Originated as a classical piece by Carl Orff as said above but that version is not what you hear over the intercom.

Most famous for a techno remake found on the first edition CD "Rave Til Dawn" don't go out and buy it because it was never on the CD after that first run for some reason. I've tried endlessly to find a first run of that CD but I've never had any luck.

Would it be to much trouble to ditch the theme song to "Bring it On" and go with this song instead. I can't help but be a little ashamed of the starting line-up song.

I've got that CD someplace. If I can find it, you can have it. I got the tape first and later found the CD at Technophilia in Austin. As a matter of fact, I have both the first Rave Til Dawn and Rave Til Dawn 2 although the second wasn't anywhere near as good.

The problem it is in storage and I'm not sure if it is at my parents house, in my college things, or in my apartment boxes that never got opened at my house. I'll take a look when I can get a chance.

Overall, it was a great compilation of early Rave music. Good memories of raves, secret locations, wristbands and parties in the middle of nowhere.

The history behind Carmina Burana is kinda interesting. The lyrics are from the 13th century, but the music was written in Nazi Germany and originally embraced as Nazi music.

The first time I ever heard it was in the movie Excalibur.
