Good luck trying to charge a battery with those Nazi cans. It’d be like trying to get my Atari 2600 to accept and play a blu ray.

OWC has best 2nd rate Apple computer parts. I upgraded my SSD thru them. They offer 1/2 the price with tools for battery replacement.

Replaced the battery in my Macbook. Apple wanted $100 for labor.
Looks like you got some newer tech at least.

I dun goofed!
bought a x299 motherboard on a sale, only bothered to check that it was the newest socket type and assumed the latest processors used it which i had seen for $80-150, but no, its a server series.. oh well i guess i should be relieved the regular models are cheaper than the sale price i paid :lol gotta return it tomorrow.. i had intended to get a ryzen but apparently even the i3-9 series is better performance for price now? kind of feel like sticking it to intel anyway..

I just bought new RAM for my motherboard, and it doesn't work with my old RAM. Same exact make and model as my old one, but 5 years apart. Am I doing something wrong?
Edit: now the damn computer won't rub properly with my old RAM anymore.

Thanks but that doesn't help with the "computer not running" problem.

Make sure you seated it properly. Hit the reset CMOS switch as well.

It wasn't seated properly. I heard the snap on the right side, so I thought the sticks were placed properly, but they weren't. I'm dumb. :spin
