Major League Baseball will shut down and disinfect training facilities in Florida and Arizona, as the coronavirus continues to make its presence felt.

The league says players and other personnel will need a negative test for the virus to get back in after the cleaning.

Major League Baseball's Philadelphia Phillies closed their spring training complex in Clearwater, after eight members of the team tested positive for COVID-19.


Houston Astros can also confirm from unspecified sauces that the Phillies displayed signs of the Corona virus
