I heard it's $700,000,000 for 10 years. Not confirmed.

70 million per year? That seems impossible. I'll guess somewhere between 350-420 million for the 10 years.

That sounds more reasonable. I just saw the $700,000,000 on Twitter. It's the only number I've seen so far.

this is pretty wild tbh... could be a genius move and could end up being an albatross. either way i like the excitement

450 mil... so not tied to the cap as some speculated.

injury guarantee is 140 mil, but i dont know what total guarantees, signing bonuses, etc, are

45 million per year, that's about what I thought he'd get. Seems fair considering the market. Rodgers probably deserves 40m/year if this is true. Prescott still 25m, sorry. Forget the Super Bowl... Prescott hasn't made it past the Divisional round and has made the playoffs at a .500 rate thus far.

Whoever said 70 million, that had to be a hoax. Even 50m would have been too much.

the most I'd offer Prescott is 5 years / 150m with about 50m injury guarantee, if he doesn't like it he can play on the tag this year and play for jacksonville next year.

50 millions per year? He better take advantage of next year because he will be playing with some raquitic ass rosters, tbh.

Just checked and it’s actually not that bad structurally, he probably has 3 years before the cap hit becomes insufferable, at which point they’ll probably just redo the contract anyway. I’d be very surprised if this contract goes even 5 years without being redone.

47.7 million per year on the extension (the rest is astronomical bonuses) but the actual contract is 39.5 million per year if you count this coming two years, which would have been the 4th year of the rookie contract + the 5th year option year.

His AAV from 2020-2031 is 39.5m/year, which is actually reasonable. I think Watson's market value is around 34 million. Also think Bienemy (sp?) would be a good fit at HC with the Texans (when they finally get around to giving their dumb fat oaf the axe), but probably not any other team, since he's the kind of HC that would fail miserably with a less than stellar QB.

Prescott? Sorry, I'm not budging on that 25-30m. He's just not that great.

Dak wants 4 years 160. I think Jerry gives it to him bc that’s what Jerry does, he folds. They should’ve just yanked for Lawerence or Fields but man Dalton is the second best QB in that division just like Dak. I say move off him

$450 m to 503 m. With endorsements and solid investing, he's essentially became a billionaire.
This is why athletes bend the knee.

That's too much. No deal. 4/120 and not a penny more.

Why not. He'll get paid a shit ton of money. And I'm sure he's got insurance if he gets injured.

Now the word is Dak wants a 3 year deal so his contract will end as new TV contract has to be negotiated - it’s all about the money.

And Chiefs definitely don't regret paying to one of the best qbs to ever play the game. It's the other teams regret that they can't pay him even more

SuperBowl STFU about QB rating.

1. Shitty receivers drops
2. BradyRef defensive PI calls

2 games, not quarters.

I see the next Elway. Grew up with John and consider him a great.

Mahomes had a steep climb but now comes the first dip in his career. Let us watch him respond before labeling GOAT.

Both Chiefs' starting offensive tackles were cut. Both are dealing with injuries.

It's going to be a tough year for Mahomes. Chiefs management should take notes from Andrew Luck's situation
