The kid's old enough to say if someone else was there and the security cam only shows the two of them boarding the boat. I think she hit her head diving in or got caught on something under the water. Psychopaths are incapable of feeling empathy so i could see psychopaths exiting with their 4 year old on a boat and doing far worse. But not saying Naya was one.

It's the other way around, I'm not suggesting the show was "cursed" like some are. But i am saying some serious deviousness by those within and around the show, absolutely. Hollywood and it's handlers have tons of evil shit, much of which never sees the light of day. Just as the casinos tell Vegas cops what to do, cartels tell their cops what to do, likewise the entertainment industry machine has plenty of players who meddle with cops n courts.

But I think in her case, being the only adult and with a kid, I certainly would have to reconsider. Moreover, I’d also have to reconsider doing it at all without at least one other adult. But I guess hindsight is 20/20.
