Tim Duncan: Knocking Down His Free Throws
RotoWire.com Staff - RotoWire.com

Update: Duncan had 24 points, 16 rebounds, four assists and six blocks in 42 minutes Monday night. He also made all six of his free throw attempts.

Recommendation: The points, boards, blocks and field goal percentage will always be there for Duncan, but he's hit 87.5 percent of his free throws early on as well. While Duncan has been a poor free-throw shooter for his career (69.2 percent), he did shoot 76.1 percent in 1999 and 79.9 percent in 2001, so he's capable of decent numbers. If that happens, he'll go back to being one of the elite fantasy players in the game.

Great job Duncan. These are the numbers he was putting up in his MVP seasons. I've noticed he's a bit more agressive than last year. Just a bit. Hope he keeps it up. :tu

Both him and TP were on from the line last night. If this was last season I wouldn't have been surprised to see the Spurs lose in regulation.

Getting a healthy Tim Duncan and one who can shoot well from the line will have been the best acquisition of the past offseason.
