Pacers: Frontcourt woes continue with O'Neal injury

Pacers forward Jermaine O'Neal participated only in part of Monday's practice before leaving to have his injured right foot and left ankle examined, according to the Indianapolis Star. O'Neal sustained both injuries on the last play of the first half of Saturday's game against the Sixers.

The Pacers are already dealing with injuries to Jeff Foster and Scot Pollard and are helping center David Harrison work back into shape following a preseason abdominal injury. The loss of O'Neal would be devastating to that already depleted frontcourt. The team expects to know the extent of O'Neal's injuries later today and we'll be sure to update you as soon as that information is available.
