All i can find about the contract extension he signed in April 2019 is:

Neither the length nor the monetary value of the contract has been disclosed.

3rd time in his coaching career blowing a 3-1 lead.

In all of NBA history 3-1 blows have only been done 13 times.

He definitely should get a playoff potential coach.

But i think he keeps Doc because Balmer thinks the change would cause too much upheaval.

Nah, they'll keep him. Uncle Tom River's coaching job is about as safe as Pop's.

No Rivers has the goods on the NBA and hard to fire a coach with a chip. What they should do is cut bait with George somehow. He gets some kind of pass for dealing with depression but he has never come up big in any significant playoff series.

Lue has the chip checkbox filled in as well and he's the assistant. It would be pretty easy to just let Doc walk and promote Lue to head coach even though Lue is more useless than Doc.
