Not sure aboutg the elite playmaker but he is a vocal leader and morale booster who leaves it all on the court in his minutes. He wont bring two players who are playable IMHO.

I think this is probably a case of not wanting to do a deal with the LAC and help Kawhis future. I think they’ve traded away most of their assets anyway to get Palmdale Wesley Johnson. (That’s just never going to be not funny)
