I only followed on the feed. ESPN has Buffalo vs Rams with Buffalo going for final drive, needing a t.d. to win:

2nd & 10 at LAR 15
(0:49 - 4th) (Shotgun) J.Allen pass incomplete short left.PENALTY on BUF-J.Allen, Face Mask (15 Yards), 15 yards, enforced at LA 15 - No Play.

Extremely crucial call as Bills had driven to 15. 15 yard penalty put them back to the 30. Props to J Allen and Bills, they ended up punching it in to the win.
Still, have you ever seen this call?

Yeah, and then Allen was gift wrapped the game on 4th down while throwing away an uncatchable ball (they called pass interference, not illegal contact, and the contact itself was incidental/questionable/initiated by the receiver).

The Rams got straight up screwed over today. It was a remarkable comeback from down 28-3 in the third quarter (haha, Falcons!) and they got straight up jobbed.

Allen is a hotheaded pompous ass. He's more of a jerk than even Baker Mayfield.

Trash Allen deserved it, tbh.

In Buffalo we trust.

But they can't stop the run game?

Will Lamar dominate?

Thanks for the bump, Numby. I'd forgotten about this.
The answer is:

It was on the follow thru. QB throws pass and his non throwing hand lands -purposely or not- on the oncoming defensive rushers facemask. Face masking call on QB.
