1- Chiefs: defending champions. 4-0. 'Nuff said.
2- Ravens: Most underrated team at this moment. One loss vs the reigning champions and people start acting as if the Ravens aren't 22-4 on the regular season with Lamar at the helm (75% of those loses coming vs the Chiefs).
3- Packers: Conference finals last year. Strong start this season.
4- Seahawks: Defense is suspect right now but Wilson + Carroll are a trusty duo.
5- Bills: Considerable improvement over an already very good year last season.
6- Steelers: A top defense + a HoF QB. Still haven't faced anyone worth a shit.
7- Saints: Giving them the benefit of the doubt. Divisional win over the team I have below.
8- Bucs: A top defense + a HoF QB. Loss to the only team worth a shit they faced.
9- Patriots: One yard away from beating the Seahawks, and they might have beaten the Chiefs if Cam would have played.
10- Titans: Might be personal bias but I'm still not sold on them being a true contender. They have been pulling one score games vs sub-par competition.
11- Colts: best defense in the league. Not sold on TOSB Rivers.
12- 49ers: Toughest team to analyze with all the key injuries.
13- Rams: lol I'm not writing lines for every team.

Seahawks #2

Packers vs Ravens. Rodgers superior QB but Ravens with more talented roster

Ravens are most definitely NOT "underrated", they are overrated if anything. They feast on the mediocre and bad teams and are feasted on by the actual contenders. That isn't top 3 material.

1. KC
2. SEA (better QB and offense overall than GB)
3. TB (GOAT; week 1 can be safely discounted)
4. LAR
5. GB
6. BAL
7. NE (GOAT coach; competitive with KC despite a bad roster/injuries)
8. PIT

"Feasted on by actual contenders" :lol. Since Lamar took over, the only team able to beat them consistently has been KC. Take them out of the equation and they have beaten everybody during the regular season: crushed the Rams (when they were coming off a superbowl appearance), they dominated the Niners last year (despite the close score), beaten the undefeated Patriots in NE, Russ' Seahawks in Seattle, Big Ben's Steelers, etc.

They are clearly the second best team in the league by a distance. Their only blemish, besides being KC's sons, is the 0-2 record in the playoffs, but I have a feeling that's just a small sample size circumstance.

DAF86

Heck, even against KC they played two tough games (one even going to OT) before this last game.

As I was saying, let's tone it down with Tompa Bay. 0-2 vs the only semi-decent teams they played. Arians will pad those air stats for old Tom vs the lesser teams, but Brady isn't what he used to be.

I guess they could win one game. They aren't beating GB, Wilson or a full Niners team. And it's a toss up against the Saint and Rams.

2- Ravens
3- Seahawks
4- Steelers
5- Titans
6- Bucs: Wasn't too high on them because I know the offense is being overrated A F, but that defense might be for real. If TOSB Brady can channel his inner early career self and game manage something fierce, they might get far in the weak ass AFC.

Problem is the 49ers are going to be 4-4 after next week and the margin is extremely narrow. They can't afford any more losses to inferior opponents. They've already had 2 absolute stinkers; at home, no less. Also, Newsom needs to let fans back into that stadium

It's too bad the browns are gonna decline from 5-2 to 8-8, such a promising start derailed by one huge injury.

1- Chiefs: Mahomes numbers might not be as flashy as Wilsons, but they might be better.
2- Steelers: Looking at their schedule they might go undefeated for quite a bit. Furthermore, I don't see how they lose more than 2 or 3 games, tbh.
3- Seahawks
4- Ravens: More than 200 rushing yards than the Steelers, more passing yards, more than 10 minutes of time of possession. They proved they are the better team, imho. I still think they are the second best team in the league but I gotta respect the record and head to head result.
5- Bucs
6- Packers: Looking more and more like pretenders, tbh.

1- Chiefs: Mahomes might be quietest MVP front runner, at the mid-point of the season, ever.
2- Steelers: One of the less impressive 8 - 0 teams ever. And they are probably going to remain undefeated for at least two more weeks.
3- Ravens: But really the second best team in football, imvho.
4- Seahawks: Gave them the edge over the Saints because of Russell. That defense though.
5- Saints: First game healthy in a long time and they looked great. They might very well be the best team in the NFC but I won't give them the tittle officially untill they start showing that kind of dominance more consistently.
6- Packers
7- Bucs: lol at anyone that had them as the best team in the NFL.
8- Titans
9- Bills: MVP Allen is back. For how long though?
10- Cardinals
11- Colts
12- Rams
13- Raiders
14- Dolphins
15- Browns
16- Bears

No reason to put Seattle over the Packers or Saints. Their best win is at Miami, they’ve squeaked by several bad teams especially at home, and they have one of the worst defenses in all of football. This is just a biased vote for Russell Wilson. I would have Green Bay 4th and keep the Saints at 5th and even put the Bucs over them too.

Besides having arguably the best player in the NFL, my other reasoning for maintaining them as the best ranked NFC team is that they have lost 2 games, one of which they really should have won vs the Cardinals. Vs the Bills they were thoroughly outplayed but they still managed to put 30+ pts. When the Saints and Packers have lost, they have looked very bad. But, as you said, it might be because the Seahawks haven't played anyone trully elite yet.

The NFC is very weak at the top right now compared to the AFC, it is wide ass open, without a single team showing any type of consistency. I have the Seahawks at 4th right now, but they could easily be outside the top 10 by next week.

4- Seahawks: Two weeks in a row that Seattle's defense allows barely over 20 pts. If that defense goes from worst of all time to slightly below average, watch out.

PIT defense is more suspect. The older and more mature I get, the much more I trust a steady 4-3 with legit pass rushers at both DE and DT, as opposed to a gimmicky zone-blitz 3-4 scheme like in Pitt

The Rams look like the most complete team in the NFC one week and then like complete dogshit the other. Goff is too inconsistent, but I still think they end up with a good record and face the winner of the NFC least in the playoffs, which basically means a bye week.

PIT defense is more suspect. The older and more mature I get, the much more I trust a steady 4-3 with legit pass rushers at both DE and DT, as opposed to a gimmicky zone-blitz 3-4 scheme like in Pitt

Andrew Gillis on Twitter: "#Ravens QB Robert Griffin III: "I pulled my hamstring in the second quarter. I felt if I hadn't have done that, we'd of won this game." Said he feels he let his team down and they had a chance to do something special." / Twitter (https://twitter.com/Andrew_Gillis70/status/1334294057317765124)

1- Chiefs
2- Steelers: I'mma mantain their spot out of respect for being the last team to lose, but something tells me they are going down next week.
3- Saints
4- Bills: They are one hail marry away from being 10-2, with one those losses coming vs the Chiefs. Outside of that Titans game, the Bills have played a pretty solid season.
5- Packers
6- Rams
7- Seahawks: The defense is officially not horrible anymore, but suddenly Wilson can't get it going. I trust him to get back to form and the Seahawks to be one of toughest outs in the NFC.
8- Ravens: Putting them this high strictly because I think they are beating the team ranked below next week.
9- Browns: They can go 13-3 and I will still have a hard time taking them seriously.
10- Colts
11- Titans
12- Bucs
13- Dolphins
14- Cardinals
15- Raiders
16- Vikings
17- Patriots: Belichick has this compilation of crap 6-6. That's one game behind Brady's stacked bunch, with a faaaaar way more difficult schedule. Furthermore, the Patriots are a couple of plays away from being 8-4. We know who the real GOAT is, tbh. FWIW, looking at their respective schedules, I'm still expecting the Pats to go 8-8 and the Bucs 11-5.
18- 49ers

30- Bengals

32- Jets: They just keep finding inventive ways to tank.

1- Chiefs: Past 5 games have been one score wins. Not exactly the World beaters everyone seems to believe they are, tbh.
2- Bills: Even the Millennial_Messiah is on their bandwagon now.
3- Packers: I still think they are going down on the first tough matchup they get but I gotta respect the #1 seed in the NFC.
4- Saints: With a game vs the Chiefs coming up, that Eagles' loss probably cost them the number one seed, and might cost them one more position, tbh.
5- Rams
6- Seahawks
7- Ravens: If they sweep their remaining games, as they should, nobody will want to face them in the first round of the playoffs.
8- Steelers: Schedule doesn't get any easier.
9- Browns:
10- Colts
11- Titans
12- Bucs: The Ravens of the NFC. They should sweep their remaining schedule and get to the playoffs as a very intimidating underdog.
13- Dolphins: I don't see them making the playoffs on the stacked AFC, tbh.
14- Cardinals
15- Raiders
16- Vikings
17- Football Team: The Football Team is making the playoffs :lmao ***
18- Patriots
19- Bears
20- 49ers
21- Broncos
22- Eagles: *** Unless Jalen Hurts has something to say about it.
23- Giants: They fucked up an NFC East sweep this week.

raiders too high imo

Probably. These middle of the pack teams are too inconsistent. One week they look like contenders and the other like absolute trash. That's why I went with record to keep it objective.

1- Chiefs: 6th straight 1 score win.
2- Bills: 2nd seed!
3- Packers
4- Saints: Brees looked rusty.
5- Seahawks: The defense has quietly been one of the best ones in the second half of the season. If Struggle can go back to being Russell MVP, they are my favourites to come out of the NFC.
6- Ravens: Reigning MVP seems to be back.
7- Browns
8- Rams: lol
9- Colts
10- Titans
11- Bucs: Bradyrefs peaking at the right time.
12- Dolphins: I still don't see them making the playoffs on the stacked AFC, tbh.

Do the Jets and Jags lose out no matter what?

Jet imo threw last weeks game along with Rams.

1- Chiefs: Offensive line sucks. Can't rely on a running game, and Mahomes runs for his life on every snap. I don't see them repeating, tbh. In fact, with this almost entire month of rest (rust) that Reid plans to give them, it wouldn't shock me to see them lose in their first playoffs game.
2- Bills: If that happens then this is one of my 2 candidates to win the AFC.
3- Packers: They are going to draw the Bucs on their first playoffs game and they are going to lose.
4- Saints: I don't know if a trust Mr. Broken ribs on the playoffs.
5- Seahawks: My NFC candidate.
6- Ravens: My other AFC candidate, if the Chiefs don't make it.
7- Bucs: I don't think they are as good as most people believe they are but, given the matchups, I have them making the NFC championship game, so might as well put them this high, tbh.
8- Steelers
9- Rams
10- Colts
11- Titans Such a pretending team if I ever saw one.
12- Dolphins: Who makes it? Dolphins or Browns?
13- Browns: It would be such a Browns thing to miss the playoffs after finally getting a winning season (and because you lost to the Jets, no less). :lol
14- Cardinals: If they fail to make the playoffs after all the hype they got. :lol
15- Bears

Solid rankings and predictions, tbh.

I agree with you about Seattle. The Legion of Boom 2.0 is finally here after an atrocious first half of the season on defense. The defense has come together and Russell Wilson always seems to make magic in the playoffs and when it counts. Their young 'n' hungry running backs are finally healthy and they don't have to bring back Marshawn Lynch to be RB1 this time around. DK Metcalf is the best receiver in the NFL currently, and Tyler Lockett is arguably the best slot receiver. They are legit SB contenders, not just to make it but to win it.
