Urban seems to be politicking for the job, unless Texas trips over their dick if they offer Urban the job he will likely take it. Who knows how that will play out.

If they swing and miss on Urban, I don't think they will get Campbell either as he seems to be a midwest guy who is more interested in waiting to see if Notre Dame, Michigan, or Ohio state come open. Unless they get Urban, this will become yet another shit show like the last two coaching hires.

What has Art Briles been up to lately?

The head coach at North Carolina seems to have turned that team around. I wonder if they'll take a look at him

Toxic culture needs to change. Otherwise the revolving door will continue. Now they’ve become second fiddle to Aggie. Sad.

Can't argue with the truth.

Let's see how things play out. This season isn't over and it's a bit of an *asterisk season anyway. Two seasons into Herman's time at Texas and I was convinced things were working but not anymore, so things can change quickly.

Underwhelming hire. Good call on the firing in 3-4 years

Lol @ Texas. 25 mil buyout after the massive layoff at Texas. I’m sure that will go over well.

Typically, UT athletics is self sustaining with a surplus. I doubt that has been true this year. Still - there are people out there who personally foot the bill to move a non-hacker out of the FB HC position. Student fees don't pay these things.

I imagine the budgetary picture changes when ESPN stops underwriting UT athletics with the LHN.
