BEREA, Ohio -- Odell Beckham Jr.'s season is officially over.

The Cleveland Browns announced the star wide receiver suffered a torn ACL in his left knee. Beckham underwent an MRI on Monday morning, which confirmed the tear.

He was injured on the Browns' second snap Sunday while attempting to chase down a Cincinnati Bengals defender following a Baker Mayfield interception.

As for OKC in 2012, I thought they were better than the Heatles that year. The Heatles got pushed by Indiana and were a hair away from losing to the Celtics in the ECF. OKC won handily in Game 1 and should have won Game 2, but Durant choked a chip shot, and the team in general started going ice cold, which became a trend. Russell Westbrook was actually by far the best player in that series, and Games 3 and 4 were close (OKC had plenty of chances to win but Harden went historically cold and the rest of the shooters couldn't buy a clutch shot) and by game 5 OKC had given up.

Still think Presti is a dumbass for trading away Harden. Whatever you think about Harden, he was the best #3 offensive option of all time, better than Heatles Chris Bosh, Lakers Connie Hawkins, 80s Robert Parish, 2008-12 Celtics Ray Allen, Tony Parker, or anyone else in league history. They could have jettisoned Perkins and kept Durant-Westbrook-Harden-Ibaka together for 10+ years. Golden State wouldn't have beaten them, even with the rise of the Splash Brothers and Co. OKC would have won 5+ championships from 2013-2025, easily. Presti deserves a tornado to hit his house for his all-time fuckup of a truly historically talented young team. It wasn't like the Boston Three Party Celtics which were old or even the Heatles who were in their primes but Wade and Bosh were on the decline. OKC in 2012 were extremely young and their core should have remained intact for 15+ years, it's an absolute crime what Presti did.

I don't know why going back and forth with QBs on any given game and sometimes even on the same game isn't a thing, tbh. If the starter is playing poorly, just try the backup and see if he can give you a change of pace. Obviously I'm not proposing this strategy for teams that have elite QBs, but when your QBs are even and you are struggling on a particular game, just make the change. I don't understand this logic of being overly patient of benching a starting QB because once you bench him you can never go back. Where in the rulebook says that if you bench a guy you can't put him back in the next week (or even later on the same game)? Maybe it is because I'm not from the US and follow many different sports, but the NFL seems too stuck on its ways sometimes and some of them don't make much sense, tbh.

For example, another thing I don't understand is why teams don't use more laterals after forward passes. The day an NFL head coach is open minded enough to hire a rugby coach to teach some rugby passing techniques and implements it on his game scheme, he will break the game. It is really not that difficult to pass and catch laterals without fumbling the ball, tbh. I'm not saying to use it as a base offense, but as the ocassional trick play here and there it would be killer.

Yeah I think it should be done a little more as a trick play, but I don't really see it being coordinated successfully for anything deeper than 10 yards. However, to put a spark in a struggling offense, something like hitting a WR on a shallow drag and then having the running back follow him out of the backfield for a backward lateral could be a nice 10-20 yard play tbh imho
