Printed media does not like trump. Should not affect their readership for obvious reason.

Media endorsements are pouring in for Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, with the election less than two weeks away.

Some major publications, including USA Today and Scientific American, broke with decades-long traditions to give their nods to the former vice president.

The outlets join at least 40 newspapers across the nation that have backed Biden as of October 22. The University of California Santa Barbara tracks major newspaper endorsements, which it defines as the largest 100 newspapers by circulation. Biden is also receiving a growing number of magazine endorsements.

The major outlet in favor of Trump is the Las Vegas Review-Journal. The Las Vegas Review-Journal — owned by billionaire Sheldon Adelson, a GOP mega-donor and casino magnate who has poured millions into Trump's reelection effort — had also endorsed Trump back in 2016.

newspaper endorsements mean pretty close to nothing if not nothing right now

As a conservative I'd be concerned if liberal media publications were endorsing Trump.

So this is great news. Thanks!

Newspaper endorsements are a poll of those that report on the news.

Might not mean anything to the average person, but they are a pulse for the reporting professionals.

So many republicans are going to come out in a few weeks and tell us that Trump was never a "real conservative"

Oh, I'll tell you that right now. Neither was GWB for that matter. Cut revenue (taxes) and continue spending and running up deficits just like democrats. I give the dems credit for at least attempting to pay for some of this sh1t :lol

But he is conservative on some other issues.

But, but... the economy will bring in more revenue and grow us out of the deficit?
You are not following the red line very well.

The party as a whole is losing it's way. I don't agree with the idea that you can spend, spend, spend and it's ok so long as you cut taxes. That's imbecility. You must have a balanced budget.

Then you loved Bill Clinton and the Republican Senate.

Correct.

So you would be in for Hillary with Bill as her budget guy with the Republican Senate they would have had.

She's no Bill. Unlikable and wouldn't have gotten much of anything done with a Repub senate, tbh.

And even Bill is further left now than he was 20 years ago.

Unlikeable?

Trump is likeable... ? you need to get rid of that point.
I can accept the others.

Surprised WSJ didn't endorse him. They must not do endorsements. Same with NY Post although the Post is obviously trying to get him elected In other ways obviously

This exact same thing happened in 2016.
