let’s see if he goes Trumpy and declares executive branch emergency orders

it’s not going to help with the courts, but there is a lot of damage Bidencould do to fix issues that pop up that are partisan. Biden could fight to take money from the military take care of certain emergency situations like strengthening of the FBI’s ability to stamp out white hate militias. Pelosi is every bit as good as McConnell, I’m sure she has some very good ideas for the blue team just using the executive branch.

Georgia senate looks like it is heading for a runoff ( geez, I really hate that stupid sh1t :lol) So tons of $$ will be pumped into it. But with Trump gone, the typical low information voter loses interest and Republicans should win easily there. Thankfully it's Georgia and not a more liberal state or we would have problems.

You believe in every single thing today’s party of trump stands for. Like all your other fables, no one cares, why think you have to make things up?

i mean I guess I get it, the impunity of your whiteness and privilege makes you think you never have to be accountable, but your concern about trying to make a bunch of strangers think you have any sort of morality and character, is totally contradicted by your truth.

Turnout is going to be huge on both sides in Georgia. The low information voters in the Atlanta area will have a lot more interest than they did in the 2008 GA runoff since there's a senate majority in play and an Afam candidate on the ticket.

Biden's administration should cut a backchannel deal with Trump to get him to turn on Perdue on Loeffler.

We will see. I think it will help Republicans more since the rabid anti-Trump youth vote won't have as much of a reason to turn out. Historically older conservatives are more likely to turnout for smaller elections. Should be interesting.

It was very close in 2018 without Trump on the ballot. Democrats will have an opportunity to put boots on the ground and register more voters by December 7.

If they're smart, they'll also depress the Republican vote by convincing MAGAtards that Mitch McConnell stabbed them in the back by not fighting for Dear Leader during election week.

You guys got over 70 million votes against Trump...a record. And (2) actual votes for Joe Biden(Joe and his wife, and Joe likely thought he was casting a vote for senate). Something tells me Georgia will be a walk in the park for the republicans in the future.

It will...as Bill Clinton famously said, Democrats would win every election and give us total control because there are more of us, but we don't vote in midterms. Same can be said for these runoffs. Democrats won't show up. They only vote in smaller scale elections when there is a (R) currently in office who they hate, like Trump.

Probably the same intuition that made you think Kanye West would get a significant portion of the black vote. Donald Trump wasn't on the ballot in 2018, and Georgia had great turnout from the Dems. Not quite enough back then, but we'll see how Republican enthusiasm looks if Trump throws a temper tantrum about the lack of support he got from GOP leadership during all of the vote counting.

I don't really care about my tax rate. Up a little, down a little has no bearing on my life.

I'm probably the only one on here who thinks middle class taxes need to be raised. I do find it hilarious that Republicans keep defining what middle class is and Dems go along with it. It wasn't that long ago that they got Dems to agree up to $250k and now they're all the way up to $400k.
