Nuggets forward Kenyon Martin, who had offseason surgery to address problems in his left knee, doesn't seem to have made much progress despite playing in games this season. "I'm becoming a jump-shooter. I don't like it. But that's what I have to do right now just to get through games," Martin told the Denver Post on Tuesday, after missing practice to rest his aching knee. "The pain got the best of me last year, and I'm trying not to let it do the same thing this year. But it is. It's getting the best of me, I'm frustrated."

If you can get anything reasonable for K-Mart on the trade market, it would be a good idea to do so. This situation is going to get worse before it gets any better. It's not out of the question that Martin is forced to miss significant time if the team feels he's unable to help them playing at less than 100 percent.
