NEW YORK -- Christmas is just over a month away, so it's time for Eva Longoria to load up her shotgun.

Longoria told Cosmopolitan magazine that being from Texas, she and her family "kill wild pigs for tamales."

The "Desperate Housewives" star said "hunting is a family thing" and they eat all they kill.

Longoria is such a good shot she beat Kiefer Sutherland and Michael Douglas at a shooting range while filming the movie "The Sentinel."

hehehe...yeah I know exactly what you mean...those night hunts were on a friends ranch outside of hondo...He would try to plant his corn crop and they would come in at night and "plow" the field and eat the seed corn...I waited till a herd of about 50 of them got out into the middle of the field...ripped the first twenty round clip on full while they were bunched up and slapped the next clip in and went to double tapping the streakers...friggen dead hogs everywhere...:lol
