If you think nobody is worried about playing Carolina, youre mistaking. Even with bum ass Bridgewater
Bridgewater is a lot like Dak Prescott, when the game's on the line he just finds a way to come up short.

Pretty accurate, but at least Dak throws it deep or into the endzone

The furthest I see Teddy throw it is when hes trying to chunk it out of bounds.

Fields would be the perfect heir apparent to Newton. 2015 Newton, not the sad post-2017 state

And now they've won too many games perhaps to draft the ideal heir to the Panthers franchise QB throne... Justin Fields.

I don't participate in fake news threads in NFL Forum other than to say I don't participate in them.

Yes, I agree that there was election fraud, and that voting by mail is fraudulent and insecure.

But I also think that, it is time that those of us on the GOP -and/or- Trump side need to accept it and face the music at this point. Sometimes, life just isn't fair. Like the Cowboys 2015 and 2020 seasons. Like the Dez Bryant non-catch. Like the Vikings losing in all 4 out of 4 Super Bowls. Like the Tuck Rule game ( spurraider21 ). Like 6. Like Game 6 of the Kings-Lakers series in 2002.

Sometimes, things just don't go your way, and you know what? Sometimes it isn't fair. And you learn to live with it, cope, and move on with your life. That's what makes the difference between real long-term survivors and those with low emotional intelligence who tend to turn to drugs/smoking/alcohol to compensate, and thus die young.

Joseph Biden is our new President; he will commence office in January, and Trump and all of his followers/supporters and non-voters/supporters alike must accept it, and move on. It's only for the best.

This game will send the Lamar Jackson Haters into further fapping mode, but FFS he's not going to win a Bowl or even big games when he's surrounded by incompetence.

you needed to lose an NFC game for tiebreakers doe. As "good" of a loss as it gets.

A good strategy is: you never want to go 4-0 against the opposite conference unless you're a clear cut #1 (i.e. you're going 15-1 or 16-0).

Conference tiebreakers. If you're tied with a different division winner for a certain seed, and you didn't play head-to-head, the next tiebreaker is conference record, so the more losses coming from the opposite conference = the better. Conference losses are therefore worse. The same logic applies to multi-way tiebreakers, and the wild card spots.

The only exception is intra-division tiebreakers which are done by division record and then common opponents. But those cases are much rarer.

Other than the Eagles and Bengals, tiebreakers are going to be quite important, both for playoff seeds and for draft order. (For draft order, you want to lose tiebreakers, not win them.)

And the problem isn't talent, in terms of talent I would rank their defense top 10 and arguably bottom of the top 5.

The problem is their defensive coordination sucks, Norton needs to get the axe and Carroll's vanilla scheme in general has long been figured out by the league for about 4-5 years now. It was the next big thing of defensive football just like the RPO on offense (or the read option in 2012) but now it's kind of been sunsetted as ineffective. You need bona fide superstars across your secondary to make it even work mildly well, and while the Seahawks have some, not as many as the early-mid 2010s, it's clear that the main problem is coaching, and the way the players are used... exhibit A is Jamal Adams.

Adams is a superstar but he's also a bit of a gambler in the Seattle scheme. A roamer. Kam Chancellor in the Kris Richard/Dan Quinn days was built similar to Adams but less athletic, but he was also committed to playing very solidly vs. gambling for the splash plays, i.e. blitzing when he's not supposed to... they need a real DC who will but the clamps on that. Look at how Spagnuolo completely transformed that Chiefs defense which was 2020 Seattle-bad in 2018.

It was a legal hit but its sounding like it ended his season and career. Schefter just tweeted that he has fractured ribs and collapsed lung.
according to rotoworld he was already wearing a flack jacket before the game so its likely he already had some significant injury to the chest area.

they havent put him in IR yet for what thats worth

I think 4 weeks would be best case scenario. That would be a return for the Chiefs game on 12/20.

It's too bad that he didn't already been Green Gay if they had given him the chance instead of Taysom Hill, and also too bad that the Saints' next 3 games aren't 2 against the Jets (yeah I know lol) and 1 against Jacksonville. I need the Jets to win two and the Jags to win once.

Jacksonville was nip and tuck with Green Gay at Lambeau, so I'm fairly confident they'll win at least another couple games.

The playcalling for the Bears keeps being pathetic. Run, run, third and long. They would be better off just taking three shots downfield to see if they can connect on one.

Agreed. And every third and long play is four verticals. They don't even run comebacks and curls just past the sticks like a competent NFL offense.

I will never understand why it isn't an automatic call, for teams that are trying to run the clock off, to run a play action pass just before the 2 minutes warning.

Kirk Cousins is such a cringey doofus. The worst/best part is he probably was popular on school thanks to being a QB. :lol

Run on second down and a screen pass on 3rd down when you need a TD on the final drive of the game. :lol
