Does solve a major issue for Portland. Bigger question remains though is if they can remain healthy

Since when are role players worth two first round draft picks? Robert Covington, two firsts? Really?

Man, last couple off-seasons where “star” players are getting traded for 3, 4+ first round picks plus young players have really skewed player trade value in the league.

difference between Ariza (old role player) and RoCo (not old role player) is not two first round picks. Portland could have just drafted two wings and brought them into camp to train them to do what RoCo does (hit a couple 3s, play middling defense but act tough, disappear in important games, be 6'6"...)

That's always the question for this team! Great pickup.

Advanced metrics guys loved Covington for a while. And he averaged 2.2 blocks per game as a small ball center in Houston so he can be a very valuable piece in today's NBA

Meanwhile Rockets seemingly imploding before our eyes?
