So i'm ashamed to say I've never tried it... or at least I don't remember trying it (perhaps it was forgettable). Is it that great?

No. I’m born and raised in AZ so I’ve had In-n-Out plenty and think it’s great, but people who wait in line for hours to buy a burger are batshit.

No way in hell I'd wait in line even 15 minutes for one.

It's a good burger, but good burgers aren't exactly hard to find. I don't get the hype.

The In N Out Double Double is probably the second best fast food burger I have had (Kingburger at a well-run Fatburger will always be my #1, but Fatburger's quality standards vary a lot whereas In N Out tastes the same everywhere). Good burger, not as good as Chesters or Chris Madrids by any stretch though.

Burgers are great, fries are terrible. Really only worth getting if you’re in Cali, as atmosphere has a ton to do with how you enjoy it. After the novelty of having an In N Out in Texas wore off, I very rarely go there.

What atmosphere is there ever in an In N Out? I guess I did see Baron Davis shoveling double doubles in his face a couple of times if that counts. :lol

Fries are better when you get them well-done IMO.

Had it once or twice, and no longer worth the wait, tbh... lots of other great options out there. Even Carl's Jr isn't that terrible and their fries are pretty decent.

BTW McDonald's curbside is beautiful. Just park and get your food brought out to you in minutes while the line of rubemobiles is twenty deep.

Their animal style fries are good if you eat them right when you get them. Wait even 15 minutes and they need to be reheated.

Chesters is prob my most underrated burger. Followed up by P. Terry’s.

I much prefer P.Terry's, serious paddies

i've tried in-n-out a couple times, found the paddy to thin and pathetic.

I talked to one kid who said he interviewed 3 times, loved his job and pay.
