In 6th, last minute tank for 7th for match up. Gets blown out in the first round anyway.

A contract year for patty, rudy, demar and lamarcus. I hope a fire is lit under all their asses.

If white is healthy and plays like in the bubble 6th seed or better honestly, and I’m not just some optimist.

10th tbh.

7th seed (optimist in me).

11th (realist in me).

I'll take a crack at it: in the NBA, the top four seed teams are: 1. LAL 2. MIL 3. MIA 4. LAC. The top four teams in the EAST are: 1. MIL 2. MIA 3.BOS 4. PHI (BKN? I see a whole lot of drama there.). The top four teams in the WEST are: 1. LAL 2. LAC 3. DEN 4. DAL. The forth seed out WEST was a toss up for me between DAL & UTA, but I believe that DAL may have a slight edge this year. We'll see, especially how COVID, along with other injuries, could play into each teams' progression this NBA season, which could change the outcomes from what is viewed "on paper," as what the projected expectations will be.

7th seed ..... in the draft.

Easily #6 on paper. But if all planets aligned, 3rd seed behind Lakers and Clippers. 2nd round match-up with Kawhi. WCF with Lakers.

9th seed.

We'll be fighting for the 8-9th seed with a few games to go, and depending on how the other teams' matchups end up shaking out, we might try a last-minute tank job once the chances of getting in are over, or make the ultimate push, only to get stomped in the first round. I wouldn't be mad at it though, tbh, now we have a lot of young players who'd benefit from the experience. I just wish this scenario doesn't come along thanks to an over-reliance on vets. Let's see whether Pop keeps his word...

If things break well can see it. But I’m going conservative and saying 7th - 11th

If LMA can stay healthy, 9th or 10th. If he can’t, 12th or 13th

Unfortunately, Pop will play DeRozan 32+ mpg, so 9th or 10th seed. If DeRozan played 24 mpg, 7th seed.

I'm sure that LAL, LAC, DEN are better, and I think DAL and POR are better. I'd say 6th is the upper bound.

It would take a pandemic for the Spurs to sniff the 4th seed.

Top 4?? maybe in the draft.
I just want to see a fun to watch Spurs team this year with developments of Keldon, Lonnie, Samanic and Devin after a nothing burger offseason.

LA is not going anywhere, he is working with the 3pt and DDR ehhhhh need to play better in his last year contract

8th seed.

12th seed. But if we play all the upstarts and actually involve them in the offense then I don't care if we have a shitty record.

8th seed in the West ceiling but I love to be proven wrong.

Going to wait until the season starts and we see the lineups when everyone is healthy...

For all I know the old man might be more interested in giving lma, rudy, and derozan a fairwell tour than winning games, like he did with marco and forbes last year

Should be an exciting team but I'm going to say 10th seed. Silver lining is that this year's upcoming draft is going to be 15-20 deep. So the Spurs were actually get a shot to draft a pretty good player.

5th seed.

I believe and hope that the young guys can improve enough to get this

I don't see it, but we might be the surprise of the season. The coaching will be much better, the defense will be much better, the style of play will be much better and the young guys should all take a significant step. I'd say 6th seed is the ceiling, but probably 7th or 8th if we make the playoffs.

Hopefully ahead of T'Wolves, Thunder, Kings. Anything beyond that seems unlikely. Maybe ahead of Memphis but that's a stretch.

Houston is going to suck this year. Harden is unhappy, and doesn’t want to be there.

Why is Memphis an unlikely target? They finished out of the playoffs last year, bombed in the bubble, and surrendered their first rounder to Boston.

I agree. I would add that even if they finish 9 or 10 but are finally more exiting to watch, then I’ll take it.

1. LAL 2. LAC 3. DEN 4. DAL. --I agree with that, then you have GSW, HOU, UTA, POR who I believe right now should be favored over the Spurs. And then you have the Spurs, PHO, NOP, and MEM who have a shot at kicking one of these teams out, if HOU self-destructs and/or players miss games due to injuries or covid.

The best thing about how we’ve started the season is we’re doing it all without Derrick White. Can you imagine how good we can be when he gets back? If the team gets fully healthy and peaks at the right time, it has a legitimate chance of snagging a top 4 seed in the West.

RC_Drunkford

way too early in the season to be optimistic. Just be happy the team is showing something. I doubt we're a top 4 seed, but maybe a 6-8 seed

Spurs are Lazarus. I was eyeing a top five draft pick a few weeks ago and now they're sitting on the tenth best record in the entire league.
