Since it's just for nationally televised games, it'll be easy to skirt around that, especially for pieces of shit like Mr. Load Management himself. He'll just not play vs. scrub teams they would beat anyways.

Meh. Won't change a thing. Especially this upcoming season. Teams will and should rest players.

If there were fans buying tickets I’d say this rule sucks, but this year who cares. Fans of crappy teams usually show up at the arenas just to watch the better opponents, and these are also the teams who aren’t getting national TV dates, so those fans get the double whammy with this rule.

Teams are just going to start finding better excuses than "load management" to rest players. I have a feeling that we are going to start seeing a lot more "sore knees" or "flu-like symptoms" this year.

This just sounds like posturing by the league so they can act like they are addressing the issue, and also gives them the ability to exercise it in the rare circumstance that they can prove a player was just resting for resting's sake.

Flu like symptoms should be accompanied with a 14 day sitting policy to keep it from being abused...

Dumbfuck league will overlook this, I bet.
