like he ran all over Cleveland, right?! Amirite?!?! = )

Titans are a team that loses to inferior competition. They came close vs JAX early in the season. This time it's on the road. JAX strength is their run defense.

Another Rams-Saints NFC championship game seems inevitable. I bet the refs favor the Saints this time though

Then again Rams-Chiefs SB would be fun as hell to watch, remember that 2018 game in Mexico City that ended up like 54-50 or something crazy like that.

As bad as the Cowboys defense has been, missing 3 pro bowlers due to injury on the O-line... the biggest hole is at QB and we all know it. Drafting the next big thing at QB would finally at long last rejuvenate my franchise.

How many weeks this year have you predicted the Jets to win tbh? At least 5 or 6. You are eventually going to be right if you just keep throwing shit at the wall every week.

Hopefully they go 0-16 so you can continue to be wrong every week though

Classic case of a team that is far superior to their record, lots of talent there just horribly coached... who the fuck sends the 8 man blitz against a hail mary... seriously.

This is an interesting video tbh. It shows all of the Hail Mary plays against the Greg Williams' defenses over the years. Basically he did the traditional "rush three, drop eight" Hail Mary defense for most of his career. Until that one fluke play in the Jaguars/Texans game where the ball went right to the safety who batted it down right into the Jaguars receiver's hands. After that, he got spooked and started blitzing in those situations. In other words, the Jaguars accidentally screwed themselves out of Trevor Lawrence a decade ago rofl rofl

Evans. Great matchup against that shitty Minnesota secondary and Minnesota’s offense can put up some points. Game should be a shoot out.

Lockett has been taking a back seat to metcalf. Could he go off for 30+ sure, but he could also end up with 5. Boom or bust type play.

and I’m kinda meh on Drake, especially against this giants defense that has been really good as of late

Evans imo, since it could be a shootout.

I have my own question: Tonyan or Andrews? Andrews is more integral to his offense, but the Ravens have been a mediocre passing team this year while Tonyan has been getting TDs the past few weeks.

Man, that's a tough ass call. I would probably still go with Andrews though. CLE defense has been pretty generous to TEs.

I saw a PI in a college game the other day on a hail mary. The receiver was thrown and the defense intercepted it.
That's pretty much the standard on these plays. This one was only very borderline PI; and it's never called on that play.

there's no way Smugface should leapfrog Mahomes just because of a 2TD - 3INT game and a 30+ point scoring WIN. The chiefs are 12-1 and the cheese frauds have 3 losses and should have more if not for the refs.

Joke's on you, since NO would still win the tiebreaker for the #1 seed because that's be their second AFC loss and you only have one.

Millennial_Messiah
12-13-2020, 04:23 PM
No way Saints don't get the #1 seed. They only have 2 losses and have 3 easy games (including today) outside of the KC game. They still control their destiny for the #1 seed over GB even factoring in a loss to KC.

DAF86
12-13-2020, 04:23 PM
Almost 400 yards

And he has to throw for that many yards for the Chiefs to move the ball because they have no consistency whatsoever on their running game. Outside a few flukey big chunk runs here and there, the Chiefs have no run game. Mahomes is forced to keep airing it out even on chewing off the clock situations. That's why I don't get the "Mahomes is the best player but Rodgers is more valuable" angle. Mahomes has to throw it for over 350 yards for the Chiefs to barely eke out wins.

Yeah and the Jets already have a top 10 - overall drafted QB on his rookie contract and it's not like Darnold is gonna command 30M+ a year especially with the cap taking a dip in the near future. Wouldn't make sense for the NYJ to draft him, but if he comes out they will and his career will be shot before it has a chance, like you said.

Jaguars don't have a day 1 or 2 draft talent quarterback on the roster so QB is obviously their biggest position of need, but if the Jets don't win a game that week 1 win against the Colts will come back and bite them in the ass; who would've thunk. :lol

Steelers appear to be folding. Interesting to see if they quit or keep fighting

I'm gonna go with quit. Tomlin is a Mark Jackson (NBA) esque clown who is more talk than coaching. The only reason he's been able to cling to his job all these years is because of the talent thanks to the front office. When that goes and they turn into the dump their fans deserve, the Rooneys will be forced to dump det jeremiah wright clone.

I've been to Buffalo once in my life. Age 15 in summer 2009. Niagara Falls was cool. I noticed they have Tim Hortons signs everywhere in the stadium. For y'all that have never been, Tim Hortons is the official and -exclusive- fast food burger chain of the Buffalo area. Except for the fact they sell doughnuts and no meat. You won't find a McDonald's or Burger King there, though.

KC beat Buffalo and Buffalo beat PIT, no other common game losses for either side. So KC wins.

Jaguars would be a solid landing spot for Lawrence imo. Not ideal but they have some nice pieces on both sides of the ball. He wouldn't survive his first season with the Jets tbh.
this is true. Chark/Cole/Shenault at WR isn't elite or anything, but its still a top 15-20 set of receiving weapons. Robinson can catch out of the backfield too.

Jets have some pieces as well... I like Mims to develop a bit, Crowder is reliable, and Perriman for all his flaws is a solid deep threat. Becton is a promising LT but the rest of their line is disastrous, and they dont have a backfield that can help him out. I have to assume Gase will be gone, though.

lol counting the last 6 games when they've played an odd number of games in the past 4 years since they already played this year... Selective bias. 5-2 in the McVay era is fair, but 3 of those rams wins went down to the last drive of the game, including both meetings in 2018.

That's pretty tough. It could be a slower than expected game. Of these four, none seem like they are an obviously better choice than the others.
Bakers had a pretty nice stretch and the Giants have a decent run defense. I might roll Baker out there.

Ronald Jones is prolly gonna be out against ATL and they actually have a decent run defense so Brady will prolly be slinging it more often than usual. With that on top of ATL's awful secondary I'd go with Brady.
