Paolo made all 3 Italy's goals in a decisive game to take out 100% favorite Brazil in Spain 82
Then made both 2 Italy's goals to take out Poland in semi finals
And made the decisive first goal to West Germany to open the score in the finals and force the Germans to attack

May not have been flashy, but was a lethal striker and ended being a national hero in Italy nevertheless

Also made anther 3 for Italy in Argentina 78, to help clinch a 4th place

Most forwards are beasts in friendly matches than disappear when it matters. Rossi and Maradona made most their goals in world cups and other official competitions. Another very sad day for football.
