From wikipedia:

On January 29, 2018, Daye returned to Italy for a second stint, signing with Umana Reyer Venezia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reyer_Venezia_Mestre) for the rest of the season. On May 2, Daye won the FIBA Europe Cup (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FIBA_Europe_Cup) championship with Reyer. He signed a two-year extension with the team on July 6, 2018.[31] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Austin_Daye#cite_note-31)

In the 2018–19 season, Daye won his first Lega Basket Serie A (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lega_Basket_Serie_A) (LBA) championship with Reyer. After winning the final series 4–3 over Dinamo Sassari (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dinamo_Sassari), Daye was named LBA Finals MVP (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LBA_Finals_MVP).

On February 16, 2020, Daye went to win his first Italian Cup (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2020_Italian_Basketball_Cup) with Reyer Venezia. He was named MVP of the competition.

There are worse things than living in Italy, that's for sure! The guy has made a nice living out of basketball-- kudos to him.

But he was a 6'11 small forward...

Eh, at best he'd be a PF in today's game. Likely, he'd be a bad center. Even when he played in the NBA, his mobility wasn't good enough to be a wing.

Is that NBA Champion, Austin Daye?

He'd definitely be a four. The league was trending that way when he was still in it. He's basically a longer, worse shooting version of Bertans.
