I'd say MOST people didn't want Kidd. Alot of people were settling for him but EVERYONE in Orlando wanted Duncan.

Completely different scenario. I'm glad the Spurs can finally move on.

90% of spurs fans ride the fence.
you 3? are part of the 2% that did not want kidd
the other 8%? are lurkers who wait to see what happens

The asbestos and lead paint chips in your trailer must be sparking up your disorder again, Mouse.

First you wear the MAvs JOck, now you put on The MAgiC underwear.

When are you going to put on your Mailman shorts, high-t0p sox and matching purple and gold mailbag.

You give Benedict Arnold a bad name and as Tonto once said when he and the Lone Ranger was surrounded by the hostile Apaches..."what do you mean WE, paleface".

I'm here for you, Kemosabe (wink, wink).

posters i was one of them
kori dizz g timvp GW and Little general was the others .. I really feel this time next year this site can
triple its traffic. but enough about me...

I will say this, it is so Obvious by the mouse bashing?

That you guys are upset, and that tells me you wanted KIDD
be A man or A Woman and Talk the Talk, say you wanted

Mouse - here is a little game you can play with your little Orlando team. It's like Concentration..match em up, if you can keep your attention on it long enough.

There was an overwhelming sentiment of anti-Kidd fanfare here.
Hell, when Kidd was in town when he came here to play, fans held up signs begging the Spurs not to go after Kidd. Parker is a HUGE favorite here!
It's nowhere near the same thing as Orlando.
Duncan was so much bigger of an aquisition than Kidd is. And, there was no opposition in Orlando to him.
Here, the sentiment is relief that Kidd didn't sign.
I heard rumors all week of Kidd coming, and Parker getting traded, and I was depressed and worried.
I think this is going to work out so much better for the Spurs!
I would have supported Kidd, but I would not have been excited by it or confident.

Everyone knew Kidd was never really interested in us to begin with. This isn't a big surprise for the Spurs. Everyone believed he was using the Spurs as leverage in his negotiations with the Nets.
What was surprising was him saying he was torn between the Spurs and the Nets after his visit.
Ends up, initial assumptions were correct, he never had any intention of leaving NJ. He just played it to his advantage.

this doesn't hurt us at ALL!
Duncan turning you guys down was DEVASTATING! We still have our championship team together.
Kidd is not a difference maker for us.
Duncan was for yall.
You were lucky to get McGrady, and Hill was just a major flop.
I know you want to fantasize that this hurts the Spurs as much as Duncan refusing Orlando was, but it's nowhere close, and no one with intelligence would say so.
I can tell you, the majority (VAST majority) of Spurs fans are ELATED Kidd said no. We were all VERY nervous about him coming ... we desperately wanted another big.
We don't need Kidd...never did.
You guys DESPERATELY needed Duncan.
It's nowhere even close to being the same thing.
Believe it or not...this is a GREAT DAY for the Spurs! I'm ecstatic!
